A BIT ABOUT ME

No you did not read wrong, it does say Pary Moppins, ever since I was a little girl that is what I called Mary Poppins. As an adult I have been compared to her, super nanny and the baby whisperer. My name is Kimberly Holst and working with children is a calling for me. It is what I am passionate about and that is why I do what I do, to help each child I come in contact with be the best them they can be. I look forward to meeting with you and your family and helping out as a nanny, night nanny or parent consultant. I am blessed to have been entrusted with the care of many children over the years and am proud of each and every one of them to this day. Wearing the titles of professional nanny, night nanny and parent consultant are privileges I do not take lightly, it is truly an honor for me to be trusted with each child I work with.

NANNY

I have been a professional nanny for the past fifteen plus years and I was a pre school teacher for the five years prior. I truly love taking care of children and each phase of life is truly fasinating to watch through each childs eyes. Every child gives me the unique opportunity to see life the way someone else does. So each child must be parented in a unique way, what works for one may not always work for another. I strive to do the best for each individual child while maintaining a close family unit. I am willing to continue working as a nanny but cannot sign any long term contracts at this time. I am currently fund raising to volunteer in an Ethiopian orphange for six months and do not know when all the funds will come in so I do not want to make any commitments I cannot keep. I am doing short term work as well as night nanny work and parent consultations.

NIGHT NANNY

How many days has it been since you have slept through the night? I am here to offer you a full nights sleep so you can be the mommy you have always dreamed you would be during the day. You will wake up refreshed ready to start a new day with a baby who has had loving care provided all night. My goal it to work myself out of a job and have your baby sleeping through the night by three - four months old. I will feed, diaper and care for your baby all night long while training him/her to sleep on his/her own.I will also help you map out a day time schedule that will allow the night schedule to fall into place. I have worked with single babies as well as twins. I have worked with babies with acid reflux and colic. So if you are looking for a good nights sleep contact me.
A night nanny usually works from 10pm - 6am at least three nights a week but five is best. I usually recommend Sunday - Thursday so the weekend can be family time.

PARENT CONSULTANT

How many times have to thought to yourself "I wish I knew what to do with my child?" That is where I come in. I can offer an unbiased evaluation to your unique set of circumstances. This is best done by me coming into your home to observe your daily life and sit down with the parent(s) and offer practical solutions. If your child is having problems in school I am also willing to sit in on a day at school and fill you, the parent(s), in on what I have observed. I will be honest in my evaluations and give you workable techniques to incorporate into your life immediately. Please be ready to jump on board and be a team player. It may be a bit of work to get a toddler who is creeping into your bed to stay in bed but it will be well worth it when you realize that behavior has stopped and the dread of having a nine year old still crawling into your bed will be long gone.
